The ACADEMY
What’s it about?
O’Day Football Academy provides professional coaching and training for
young football enthusiasts between 6 and 15 years of age. The O’Day
Football training model helps young players to develop and improve their
skills and advance in the sport.
O’ Day Football Academy consists of professional coaching divided into
2 x 15 week blocks and runs alongside the school term, September to
June.
If your child is serious about football, is enthusiastic and wants to
progress in the sport, O’ Day Football Academy offers a unique
experience for your child to develop their potential in this exciting and
fulfilling sport.
Throughout the programme each player is encouraged and enabled to
take charge of his or her own learning, resulting in players who know
how to learn and how to develop skills.
The Programme recognises the importance of both team work and self
determination. Balancing both, is an especially important life lesson for
success in football. This encourages confidence and maturity, a benefit
that can be seen both on and off the pitch. This is learning with added
value and is a strong characteristic of the programme.
